The majority of students at Avalon are not exactly into the whole vegan scene. They'd rather smoke their nasty cigarettes full of mouse terds and eat McDonald's cheeseburgers that were loaded with lard and horse hooves. Worded tht way, the typical teenager's diet and lifestyle seemed far from enjoyable. Eryn was one of the few hardcore organic vegans in Los Angeles. It was difficult but well worth it in her eyes. Eryn theorized that she'd live at least ten to fifteen years longer than the average meat-eater. She was a very opinionated girl and had bold beliefs in politics and religion. However, she was somewhat open-minded and would sit down and exchange thoughts with someone from a totally different culture with no intentions on changing them.
Stepping into eclectic vegan/vegetarian restaurant, Eryn made her way toward the back of the small restaurant and took a seat at a two-seater booth. The place was packed. She quickly ordered a water and a dish with barley with fresh spinach and carrots. She was made up a rather mediocre amount today. She had a bit of makeup on, her hair was in loose curls, and her accessories were mainly her hemp bracelets, a thin red shell necklace, and a few homemade string bracelets. Her ears were gauged to a size zero and had a metal saddle plug in them. She was a big...unusual. However, her jeans were white skinnys and her shoes were a pair of colorful, splattered slip-on Keds. Eryn's shirt was a light pink, very soft babydoll with thick straps at the top that cross along her thin back. She yawned as she thought, "Is there anyone actually interesting and cute in here today?" This may seem shallow, but you must remember than everyone in there either had a bright red mohawk or was an earth-freak that only ate bark.

Dorian woke up to Hayden tackling him right off the bed, causing him to gag as the boy reeked of ciggeretes and Mcdonalds. Hayden though had quickly taken respect and left him alone and went to take his shower. Dorian ran a hand through his hair and down his face feeling the familiar feel of stubble on his chin and groaned, he didn't feel like bothering with any of that, too tired to even think about getting ready for anything, not like he had much to get ready for anywho. Next thing he knew he felt a pillow colliding with the backside of his head and he groaned turning to see Hayden looking guilty as ever. "fucking go somewhere would you?!" hayden screamed at the boy. "sorry i don't go out fucking the random girls as you do, oh sweet brother of mine" his tone screamed sarcasm. Hayden didn't even bother with him, just rolled his eyes and retreated to the living room to watch television.
He finally went into the bathroom and showered, did all that fun bathroom stuff and came out, rubbing his chin, smooth skin now, or as what hayden called it, girl skin. Dorian did tend to have a feminine look to him, not purposly mind you. He sat on his bed in white boxers with ahh! real monsters on them and heard a yelp as he sat down and noticed he had sat on his dog's tail. "sorry penguin!" he screamed and his tone told sincerity. The dog had scampered off and he stood up and found a pair of dark jeans and slid them over slim thighs, letting them hang low on his hips. Next pulling out a white hit the lights tee shirt and slid it over his head, finally going to the mirror to apply the needed amount of eyeliner, which was barely any, and to fix his hair, which meant running his hand through it until he thought it looked acceptable.
He did finally leave the house, making it to his resteraunt of choice and walking in, finding the place packed. He walked around and found a semi familiar face, Eryn, if he remembered right, he had seen her like twice before but had barely talked to her. He found himself walking over there and he greeted her with a simple, "hello," he flashed her an innocent smile and saw that she was sitting at a two seater and assumed. "waiting for someone?"

Eryn sighed and sat back in her chair, brown eye shadow covered eyelids now visible. Her water was sat down before her but the clear plastic Coca Cola cup was so wet she didn't dare pick it up. It seemed as if they ran more water on the outside of it rather than the inside where it belonged. It was full of huge pieces of ice. Ah, one reason why she didn't come here often. The place was remarkably busy so she came here only on days like this; a Thursday. Nothing big would happen today. It was the day after the Fourth of July and no fireworks would be going on today. All Eryn had done yesterday was protest in front of a fireworks sales facility because they sold the dangerous products to teenagers. But that wasn't the issue. The problem was that the irresponsible and cruel teenagers often set the fireworks off and directed them toward animals. Thus, Super Eryn to the rescue. She was dedicated, to put it nicely. Others would say she was an incompetent, stubborn liberal that thought she knew everything and was obsessed with being different.
As she sat in the booth, she heard soft foot steps padding their way over to her table. Eryn sat up and opened her eyes, resituating herself. One of her lean, toned legs was folding beneath her bum as she sat with her elbows on the table. She looked like a child mainly because of her small stature. Her smokey blue eyes fell upon Dorian Lexington, cute boy number two. That's what she referred to the twins as: Cute boy number one and number two. However, she'd never tell them this. Instead, she'd sit back and tell them what every boy wanted to hear. This includes you're so unique; that's refreshing, your arms look bigger than last time, and of course the favorite, I want you. Now write a side note that she'd never say the last one, even if he was an absolutely drop dead gorgeous vegetarian boy with an adorable name to match his persona. At his words, she smiled. Her heart fluttered a bit as he sat down in front of her. She wasn't sure what he was getting at; whether he wanted sex or a conversation--maybe both. "Yeah. You," Eryn responded, her soft voice filling the air with a much more feminine tone than Dorian's. Of course she hadn't actually been waiting for him but she liked to mess with boys. It was as fun as going to a carnival. "So how have you been, Lexi?" she asked curiously. She'd named him this utmost masculine name--note the sarcasm--because she learned his last name before his first name and she always gave people nicknames. Thus, Lexi had come about.

Yesterday was a rather amusing day for Dorian. As much as he hated violence, he spent most of that day either stealing all of Haydens fireworks and throwing them out or throwing rocks at him for scaring the poor stray cats when he set the fireworks off in their direction. He had tried to beat him up, but that of course failed miserably, and left Hayden with a scratch on his arm and Dorian with a bruise on his leg. Hayden may be the taller, skinnier one but he was also the stronger one. Dorian was a rather weak boy, but that was mostly due to the fact that he was much more of a lover than a fighter, he hated violence more than anything and he hated animal violence more than any other kind of violence. A couple years ago he almost got shot for going in a forest during hunting season to try and stop the people from shooting the deer, that didn't end too well, he ended up seeing the death of a deer close up and almost got shot. He also got screamed at by like twelve angry hunters as well.
As Dorian was standing there heard her speak and laughed, "ta love, but i doubt you were waiting for me" as soon as he stopped speaking he heard his cell phone going off, "is it still me that makes you sweat, am i who you think about in bed" Dorian groaned knowing that that was Hayden, he had set the damn ringtone as that himself. He pulled the phone out of his pocket and answered it, "what the fuck do you want?"get liadd babbyyy letss talk about getting laiddd""fucking hell, drunk already?' and with that he closed his phone and shoved it into his pocket. He looked to her and spoke, "sorry, love, he drinks way too much." he spoke and smiled softly at her. When he heard her next comment he smiled and replied with, "surprising you don't call me dory like every body else, but i'm fine, ta. how about you?" he spoke softly, as he always did. He slowly slid into the booth opposite her and smiled, "hope you don't mind me sitting here dahling."

Eryn smiled and folded her other leg beneath her body alongside the left one. As he removed his phone, she removed hers as well although it wasn't ringing. She scrolled down the missed call list and sighed before shoving it back into her pocket. Calling desperate people was the last thing on her mind right now. Instead, she'd rather talk to the adorable man in front of her. At his say, she smiled lightly. Even though he was a lot older than her and she barely knew him, she couldn't help but blush at his sailor mouth. It was so cute in her opinion.
When he questioned her, she smiled. She was an unusual girl so of course she wouldn't clal him Dory. "I'm well," she replied, her hands now being wrung in her lap. She took a deep breath and released, wetting her lips before speaking again. "No, it's fine. I like the company," Eryn cooed somewhat awkwardly. She looked down at her hands and then across the table at him until her food arrived. "Want some?" she asked, scooting the bowl to the middle of the small table. She put a bit of salt and pepper on it before taking a small, embarassed bite of it. The poor girl was scared out of her mind just because he was a boy. Well, that was a switch from outgoing Ashlyn.

Dorian for one had felt rather bad about the way he had acted and the words that he choosen while he was on the phone with Hayden. He respected girls a lot and he always tried to be a gentlemen while around them, which usually included watching his mouth, though when he was dealing with his brother he usually lost it, his brother driving him over the edge at times. Though there were other times where he really did love Hayden, and he showed that in ways unknown to anyone else. Whenever he and Hayden were around other people they kept up their arguing and all of that nonesense.
Dorian smiled softly when she said she was well, actually following the proper english terms when speaking, unlike most who say i'm good. Though he wouldn't dare correct someone when they said good, god knows he didn't need anymore people making fun of him. When she said that she enjoyed the company he smiled and for unknown reasons he cheeks flushed a slight pink color, hopefully going unnoticed by her, the last thing he needed at the moment was for her to ask him why he was blushing. When she asked if he wanted anything of whatever it was that she was eating he politely shook his head, "no thanks, love, but don't let me stop you," his voice soft and then he paused again, "what have you been up to, miss?"

Trust me, little Eryn was very fond of bad boys and a dirty mouth never bothered her. Ashlyn cursed about every other word. It was often difficult to understand her because she would say the F word more often than anything else in the English language. She was fascinated with different dialects and languages. Dorian's accent intrigued her infinitely. It was refreshing when you lived with people that spoke in the same fashion as everyone else around you. She liked people that were different. They spiced things up and were quite inspiring when you think about it. Hell, they have the gull to be unique when most people aren't. She liked that a lot about Dorian.
When he denied the food, she pulled it back and placed the bowl in her lap as she took small bites of it after chewing a few seconds longer than usual. She didn't want to seem like a total pig, which Ashlyn was. That girl ate like someone was going to take it away from her. Dorian's voice interrupted her thoughts. She looked up at him and swallowed the food, grinning as her cheeks turned another light shade of pink at his choice of a pet name. "I've been trying to find someone interesting to speak with, which I think I've just found," she responded as she dropped her face again to go on eating her barley and vegetables. Would he catch on that she thought he was insanely cute? She hoped not. "And what about yourself, Dorian?" Eryn asked, looking up at him as she chewed which was being carried out much more carefully than usual. God forbid she look as hungry as she felt. Haha, skinny ass.

Dorian thought himself as the least unique person that you could possibly find in their city, though most thought of him as the opposite. He was the boy that was in the band, a vegetarian, wasn't popular at all, by any means, and was a rather cute kid with absolutly no self asteam at all. He was the boy with the cute accent too, the one that drew people to him but he was too shy to really talk to them so that he could get to know them, all he ever got was a name and then they would walk away because of some awkward silence that could easily be blamed on him, as was everything bad in a social situation.
He smiled when she pulled the food into her lap, glad that she was still eating even though he was there. He couldn't stand when girls refused to eat in front of guys, it disgusted him really. I mean how can you like a boy if your too ashamed to eat in front of him, it's a vicious thing really. He smiled lightly when she was referring to him about finding someone interesting to talk to. When she returned the question he shrugged, "nothing, really, protecting stray kitties from my brothers fireworks"

Eryn smiled at his response, offering a slight giggle as well as she finished chewing her bite of the food. After swallowing, she took a napkin out of the dispenser and wrapped it around the plastic cup that was still soaked. The weak paper instantly became soaked. Groaning, she wrapped a few more napkins around it and picked it up, taking a sip out of it before setting it back down. "Poor animals. One of my brother's friends put a firecracker in their bum and lit it. It was horrible," she mentioned, grimacing as she thought of the animal blowing up.
Sighing, Eryn went back to eating her food. After just a few minutes she was through and set her bowl on the table along with seven dollars for the bill. She definately stiffed them though because the service was horrible, nevermind how busy the restaurant was today. She stood up and looked over at Dorian with an innocent smile on her face. "Shall we go to the park?" she asked, nibbling at her bottom lip almost nervously. He had the boyish good looks that were hard to come by these days. Actually, he wasn't her type at all, yet somehow he seemed to have a hold on her. She wasn't sure why but wanted to find out.

Dorian couldn't help but to laugh at the way that she was layering napkins onto that cup, very tempted to say that she was killing a lot of trees by wasting so many napkins, but he kept it in, as he had everything else that he ever wanted to say to anyone. On the inside he was a very opinionated person ,but when it came to actually saying what he thought out loud and all that jazz he wasn't very good at it at all, he just kept thinking of all of the horrible comebacks that people could come up with to throw back in his face, and that was something he wasn't sure that he would be able to handle.
When she mentioned that bit about someone shoving the fireworks up an animals ass he cringed and involuntarily spoke out, "fucking sick," immediately regretting his choice of words, realizing that it wasn't the best thing to say in front of a lady such as herself. He was snapped back to reality when she asked him to head off to the park. He nodded and shifted in his seat for a moment before finally getting up, he held out his hand to help her out of the booth and he smiled at her, all really an attempt to make up for the language he had used just moments before.
